What is the Academic Resource Center (ARC)

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) supports undergraduate students as part of the Office of Undergraduate Advising.

We are your DKU learning partner that helps you navigate university learning, develop effective academic strategies, connect with support, and grow as an independent, lifelong learner.

Whether you are adjusting to your first semester, working through a challenging course, developing better study habits, or simply looking for new ways to learn more effectively, ARC is here for you!

How Can ARC Support You?

Peer Tutoring Program

Learn with a peer who has been there before.

Work with trained undergraduate Peer Tutors who have successfully completed the courses they support.

Peer tutoring provides course-specific learning support through drop-in tutoring and individual support.

Academic Success Coaching

Turn your goals into an actionable plan.

Meet one-on-one with an ARC professional to reflect on your academic experience, identify challenges and strengths, set goals, and develop strategies that fit the way you learn.

Coaching can support areas such as time management, study strategies, motivation, goal setting, academic routines, adjusting to university learning, and graduate school application.

Academic Success Program

Build skills for academic success — and beyond.
Participate in interactive workshops and learning experiences designed to help you develop practical academic and lifelong learning skills.
Topics may include study strategies, time management, motivation, communication, managing academic stress, and other skills for navigating life and learning at DKU.

Events & Workshops

Learn, connect, and practice.

Throughout the academic year, ARC offers workshops, special events, collaborative programs, and learning resources designed around students’ academic needs.
