The Academic Resource Center offers interactive and hands-on events and workshops during most semesters to help students develop successful learning habits and strategies. Designed by the Academic Resource Center (ARC), the Academic Success Program (ASP) provides students with information and skills they need to transition to college-level coursework and achieve academic success. In this program, students learn about campus resources and practical tips for navigating their college life.

First Friday is a series on the first Friday of every session meant to promote connection between students and faculty members outside of the classroom. Each event consists of two parts:

Exam Jam is scheduled at the end of a semester to help students be better prepared for finals week. This is a full week event which includes exam planning sessions, review sessions and stress relief activities. The Academic Resource Center also provides toolkits for students to better plan for their finals and projects, as well as create their final study schedule. ARC partners with the Office of Student Affairs on De-Stress Fest and Writing and Language Studio on the Hunker Down and Write session in order to help students be prepared for final exams both academically and mentally.
