Hi everyone! I’m Rabin, a rising senior majoring in Computation & Design (Digital Media track) here at DKU. I’m originally from Nepal, and over the past few years, I’ve loved being part of DKU’s vibrant, multicultural community. You’ll often find me on the volleyball court (I play for the varsity team), but I’m also a big fan of tennis, football, and table tennis – basically, if there’s a game happening, I’m in!
Outside of sports, I enjoy listening to music (and yes, I’m a proud bathroom singer), and I never say no to a good movie, especially if I can watch it while enjoying some food. I also love exploring different cultures and languages; I speak English, Nepali, Hindi, and a bit of Mandarin, so feel free to reach out in any of them!
When I first arrived at DKU, I faced my share of academic and cultural challenges, but I’ve grown a lot through self-learning, joining clubs, and connecting with people from all over the world. Now, I’m excited to help new students find their footing, whether it’s navigating classes, building friendships, or just adjusting to life on campus.
Fun fact: I’m known among my friends for my positive energy and for always being up for a spontaneous sports match or a karaoke session. If you ever want to chat, play a game, or just share your DKU experiences, I’m always here and happy to help. Looking forward to meeting you and supporting you on your DKU journey!
